1. Create Your Testing Account

To use Juno’s APIs, you must have a business account. You need a business email address and a minimum eight-character password, including uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol to start creating your account. The account registration process requests information about your company (including documentation), its legal representative, and beneficiaries and directors.

In the testing environment, all data can be dummy as long as it has the correct format; for example, phone numbers must comply with the structure of the country you are registering. The exception to dummy data is the postal code, which must be accurate because the system completes additional address data based on it. The required documentation can also be artificial.

You may stop the account registration process at any time and retake it simply by logging into your account. The system automatically takes you to where you left off.

🚧

Phone Number Verification

Account creation requires you to verify a phone number. However, Juno doesn't have SMS messages in the testing environments, so you need to email our Developer's Support Desk, [email protected], and arrange to provide us with your phone number.

After entering your phone number in the account creation flow, the system issues your verification code, which our Support Desk returns to you.

For an account in the production environment, Juno does send the information to the registered phone number.

🚧

Supported Countries

Juno has a list of prohibited jurisdictions. Ensure you open your testing account within a valid jurisdiction. You can find more information at Bitso Terms of Service, list item 22.

To open your Juno account in our testing environment, go to testing account creation.

To avoid unnecessary steps in your testing account creation process, bear in mind the following. Choose Yes on the Legal representative page to answer the questions shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1. Legal Representative Page Snippet

After clicking Yes in the first question, the system prompts you for the percentage of shares they have. Choose a number greater than 20.

The second question prompts for the company position the legal representative has. Select the first option that appears.

Answering in this manner ensures that you won’t need to provide further information about beneficial owners and executive directors (UBOs) when you reach this last page.

When you finish creating your Juno account, log out and email our Developer's Support Desk at [email protected]. Don’t forget to include your account email so we can approve your account registration.

When you log into your account for the first time, the system prompts you to accept Juno's Terms and Conditions. You need to accept these terms to navigate the Mint Platform.
