Retrieve a CLABE's Details

The GET /spei/v1/clabes/{clabe} method enables you to retrieve comprehensive information about a CLABE that belongs to your account.

To get the specifics of a CLABE, make the following HTTP request using the specified path parameter:

GET https://stage.bitso.com/spei/v1/clabes/{clabe}

Path Parameter

  • clabe: Identifies the CLABE whose details you want to know.

The following response object exemplifies the JSON object returned:

{
    "success": true,
    "payload": {
        "clabe": "710969000012345678",
        "type": "ADDITIONAL",
        "status": "ENABLED",
        "created_at": "2023-07-11T18:49:41"
    }
}

CLABEs can have the following states:

  • ENABLED: The CLABE is active and can be used.
  • DISABLED: The CLABE is no longer active and cannot be used. A disabled CLABE cannot receive deposits.
  • BLOCKED: Bitso operators can block a CLABE because of fraudulent activity or lack of payment for the service. A blocked CLABE cannot receive deposits.
🚧

Avoid Unnecessary Fees.

Bitso promptly informs whenever it blocks a CLABE. Nevertheless, if deposits persist to reach a blocked CLABE, the service rejects the transaction, returning the funds to the origin account and applying a rejected deposit fee.

The same applies to disabled CLABEs: If a user transfers funds to a disabled CLABE, the service returns the funds to the sender account and charges a rejected deposit fee.
